Spider's web and Spider
Made for Portsmouth Cathedral to hang the bell ropes on this web serves the purpose of keeping the ropes out of the way when pulled up to the top of the belfry and comes complete with it's own oak spider.

Oak charger/tray
A beautiful personalised solid oak charger approx. 12" across. Hand turned by Harry Butler and personalised with hand carved initials and oak leaves. Ideal as a birthday present and useful to throw car keys, change etc into! Contact Sarah for a quote to produce something similar.

Carved in oak, this plaque reads 'I Love you' in Dhivehi (Maldives) with the date of their wedding underneath.

Carved in Ash showing a bee and thistle design with the family motto around the border.

First name bookends
A slightly different take on the usual initials for bookends, this set consists of the little girl's first name. Made from oak but with different stains used to create a different coloured letters. Unfortunately these only really work if the first name is relatively short!

RAF badge
A replica of a 1919 RAF badge in oak to finish the restoration of a barometer by a local clock restorer.

Bespoke Pool Cue Holder
Made from 30mm thick oak, this pool cue holder is a of a simple design which will look right at home in the games room. Carved to my clients specifications and drawings it left the workshop as bare wood to be finished off with varnish at a later date.

Ashworth coat of arms
Carved into quartered oak this coat of arms measures 7" x 9 1/2".

Church screen
Working on an oak church screen to replicate the original 1930's design. This section consisted of 24 flowers, carved on both sides, each of the flowers was unique so a template had to be drawn out for each.

Oak bookends
Made from solid oak with the recipient's initials, these have non-slip material on the bottom to prevent them sliding around whilst in use and are finished with beeswax to create a subtle sheen.

Guardian Angel
Carved out of oak this figurine stands about 20 cm high, he is supposed to be plain and rustic with a personalised message carved along the bottom.

Owl No.2
Carved from a Sycamore tree trunk, this owl is about 1 1/2 ft tall and is designed for the garden.

Oak bookends with cap badges
A pair of solid oak bookends, one carved with the Intelligence Corps cap badge, the other with the Royal Gurkha cap badge. To finish, they were stained with a medium beeswax and polished.

Fleur-de-lis design
A set of two oak fleur-de-lis designs to go either side of a fireplace directly underneath the solid oak mantel. These aren't quite finished yet and will eventually be stained to match in with the existing oak.
